I thought that you did a great job analyzing the genuineness of your Facebook page. Although you keep your Facebook page up-to-date, I thought it was great that you still found gaps existing between your real and online identities. Your analysis of the emotion in the statuses that you post allowed me to re-evaluate my own Facebook activity. I liked how you touched on the fact that you usually only post about the positive things in your life, rather than the negative, which may lead people to believe that you are always happy and cheerful. Therefore, a slightly unauthentic version of you is depicted to others. I also thought you made a great point in evaluating WHO you talk to on Facebook, as you noted that the people you are closest to are not the ones you interact with the most in this online environment. Your style and flow of writing was nicely done as well. Overall, I really liked your autobiographical statement as I thought you made some great points in discussing some of the limiting the features of Facebook and how they relate to the authenticity of your identity. - Cara Baughman
