Length The article is around 940 words and meets the word count requirement for the mediawiki draft assignment.

Structure The article has an opening paragraph that summarizes the issues. The author explains what the topic is, more information about when and why Apple’s App Tracking Transparency started, and common arguments and counterarguments for this technology. Although I own Apple devices and am familiar with this feature, I believe they clearly explain the topic in a way that anyone can understand. The body of the article is divided into four additional sections. Each section is relevant to the article and is well organized. Statements made in each section of the article include a hyperlink to a source. They used a variety of reliable sources: information from Apple, Forbes, and various news websites.

Clarity The issue discussed in the author’s article is clear. I think data collection and tracking is a common worry. This feature allows users to opt in or out of tracking by apps. By default, the user will receive pop-up notifications to make their selection. Regardless of a user’s selection, Apple still collects data which is tied to an Apple device’s IDFA rather than someone’s personal information.

Objective Reporting The author uses an objective point of view. They mention a couple of common arguments surrounding this topic in the introduction paragraph, but don’t argue for or against either side. In the final paragraph they explain how this feature might affect an app like Facebook.
