Bingjie Qiu is a second year student at the University of Michigan. She is majoring in Social Informatics at the School of Information at the university. Currently she is helping friends market and design a iPhone app that will help people to connect with each other and share live events. In the past she has worked with a local Ann Arbor start-up, SumoDeal, in expanding their business to include more discounts for individuals in the Ann Arbor area. During her free time, Bingjie enjoys spending time with her two Pembroke Welsh Corgis as well as her friends on campus. She regularly attends volunteer events and club organizations.
