It was good to use your preexisting thoughts about self-avatar creation, maybe you could expand on this using prior avatar knowledge. I enjoyed the descriptions of the evolver software’s limitations, especially in terms of a specific race. Your frustrations during the process were evident in the reflections, which I think give the reader more insight to your project. The specific fixes you used to help bring your avatar to life also are very good. I liked that clearly broke down specific elements of your avatar and those specific processes as well. The connection of your fantasy avatar to a specific story was very interesting. I didn’t see the direct use of your references, but I believe that you could expand this section. I found that the class readings were very useful in describing avatars as well as describing their purposes. I also think that it could be useful to expand the fantasy avatar section of your entry to provide more of your personal insight on the subject. You point out several interesting possible additions to the evolver software; maybe you can elaborate on what you think avatars should become in the future.
