This article was very well written and the main focus was clear throughout. I enjoyed reading your perspective on privacy as it is very different from much of what I have heard lately, especially your advice for not giving out any data to be collected.

One thing I would have loved to hear more about is why the accurate information they did know about you like age and relatives was not concerning. Is it because these do not factor into your own self-identity or you simply do not think someone could use this data to harm? Whatever your thoughts are it would have been interesting to hear them within your article.

Going off of this, a suggestion I have is to add in some concepts from class to support some of your ideas, or to offer alternative perspectives. It might be beneficial to reference some of the authors we read, even if it is just to demonstrate your statement that concerns about privacy have become popular again.

Overall, your article was formatted and written in a very engaging way that provides a great basis for any revisions you make.

This was a great read! Your voice was clear and strong throughout the whole piece and I appreciated the commentary on the scare-tactics used by data brokers. The formatting helped guide the reader through your investigation and broke up the piece very well. Also, mad props for having a “proactive attitude” regarding - I wish my self from the early-to-mid 2000’s had that kind of self restraint. One thing I might expand on is your experience going out of your way to remain private. Have you found using pseudonyms or other alterations of your identity changes your experience online? Overall, this piece was very well-written and brought up some great points for the reader to consider!
