Length: 968 words not including the citation section but including titles and headers. Perfect word count for the draft!

Structure: The article includes all of the 3 major components of a good article. Specifically, it includes an opening paragraph. This introduction is composed of 6 sentences and includes statements with working citations. As for the content of this paragraph, it gives a concise yet complete summary of the issue. I like how the ethical dilemma was placed at the end of the paragraph for clarity going into the rest of the article. Additionally, the body of the article is correctly set up into more than one section (it has three to be specific). All three are great categories to stifle dense information into. One note could be to add more to the section titled “readability” so the sections have a more even word count. Lastly, 3 sources are cited that all checked out to be reliable and the information that was used from them was not misrepresented or inaccurate. My only note is to make sure the citation number is on the correct side of the period at the end of a sentence.

Clarity: The issue is incredibly clear and I really liked the segway to the major ethical problem which is using user’s personal data for profit and without their consent.

Objective reporting (Neutral point of view): The article is written completely objectively. While reading each section, I did not feel like there was an agenda being forced or any clear political affiliation of the author. One idea that might help convey the objectivity of the article would be to create another section for dissenting opinions. For instance, could the author research if some believe taking advantage of people's data by way of terms of service is overall a net positive?
