Although advantages and disadvantages have not been included currently, the scope looks like a good focus. I enjoyed reading on Target(the company) figured out a teen girl was pregnant before her father did. It might be helpful to look at the ethical issues behind this and advantages and disadvantages for the advertisers and consumers.

My understanding of the title and reading the article led me to ethical issues such as privacy concerns, intruding using certain ads, and the use of the data. Think of a way to add this without bias. The importance of protecting and understanding how these ads discriminate against consumers. Companies need to be transparent about the way they collect their data. I like the hyperlink used in the History section, it might be nice to add more of these for the reader's convenience.

The ethical issues are apparent without personal opinions relating to targeted advertising such as the perspectives involving racial profiling advertising issues.
