Hi Rishika,

Great job on your avatar article! I thoroughly enjoyed reading about your analysis of your statuses and how they depict the “goofy” aspects of your personality. Your introduction succinctly captured exactly what you were going to discuss in your article and provided an interesting overview of the theme of your paper. I found it very interesting that you said that when you share or create posts on Facebook, you “do so with the mindset that [you] would not mind if a stranger such as an employer were to see it.” This is very similar to my position on social media and is an acute insight into how I believe many millennial utilize mainstream online communities: with caution, but as much authenticity as possible.

Overall, I like how you discussed that audiences effected your content, but your personality still manages to peak through. I really enjoyed reading your work, but the only piece of criticism I have is the lack of posts about what your friends say about you online. It would have been interesting to add that layer onto your understanding of your online personality and real life personality. Other than that, great job! ☺ - Tanya Madhani
