I really like your post. It is very fun to read. The introduction is very creative and funny. The search process you went through for this assignment is well presented, and your thought process is detailed and flows well throughout this post. Even though you did not find very much information by googling yourself, but what you found later is very interesting. You found the information about you on your father’s White Pages’ result and your grandfather’s obituary, and you also discovered the information about other people who are sort of related to you but you have never met before. You give a nice analysis from the point of finding one’s online identity from other people’s online identity. This is a very unique angle. One suggestion I would give to improve this post is to divide it into several sections like search process and analysis. In this way, it is easier for readers to follow what you are talking about and the structure of the post will be a lot clearer.

Hi Matthew! Good stuff here. I really enjoyed the way you started off talking about this 'alleged' version of you and how you related it back to a childhood interest. You make a very thorough effort in showing just how detailed the information in your report was and that came across very clearly, but I must say I struggled a little bit to see what your 'defensible argument' was behind all of it.

On that note, while you went very thoroughly through the data report to use that as evidence for how much information about you is out there, I think you should consider diversifying your evidence and take a larger scope by maybe including stuff about what your social media profiles can reveal from an anonymous user's perspective. As a whole, I really liked your perspective and voice in how you approached this, but I think that giving it a little more clear-cut structure and diversifying your evidence tools could go a long way in making it more clear what it is you're trying to argue.

Also, for what it's worth your picture of your dad that you linked to didn't pull up so you may want to give that a look. Good work!
