This article does a great job of tying multiple different topics in to one coherent narrative. This narrative is complimented by the contrast of your personal social media usage and mentions of more general social media usage. By general social media I mean sentences like "Nearly all of my Facebook friends that were my age began behaving similarly." This allowed me as a reader to connect my own experiences to what you were talking about. Your last section, highlighting where your social media usage will be going in the future, adds another interesting spin because it makes me begin to think how my social media use might change. Additionally your writing showed that social media actually, and always has meant something to you. Nice job.

Your article tells a wonderful story. You were consistent with the theme of performing by explaining it in the beginning, and tying it all together at the end. Your authenticity shined through your personal examples, your heartbreak, your acts of rebellion, it was all real. And it coincided with your uses of different social media outlets. I believe that all of the information you included is necessary to tell the tale of your initial ups on Facebook and Twitter, and your later falling out due to major life events and online privacy. It makes sense, it shows how you've grown over the past ten years and shows that you will continue our social media use in the years to come. Very well written.
