Very well done overall Ege, I appreciate the strength of your thesis and the sewing of that threat through your ID draft up to the very end with the ethical implications. You attended to the word limit very well, hit all the major points, and gave equally strong and light-hearted examples to support your claims and to detail your exploration. I don't have much as far as a recommendation of edits, and in fact, I may steal the idea of "ethics and implications" as a section to restructure my own ID draft, but I would say that you should (and easily could, given the strength of your draft) associate concepts with the readings we have done and include them as technical references. Though it is not explicitly mandatory, some of the examples from last years include as much, and I think it would really complete your Data ID statement. Cheers -Noah McGuire

Hello Ege!

Wow, that's crazy that you are the only one in the nation with this name! I agree with your statement about how our data identity will never be authentic, stable, or complete and that is pretty concerning isn't it. Your introductory paragraph had me instantly intrigued, which I think is a very important factor of a well written statement... good job on that! I haven't met to many people with no social media accounts so your perspective is enlightening to me. Even though reading your old tweets was entertaining, I don't see the relevance of this to be included here in your statement, but I could be wrong. I wish you would've touched on what parts of your searches were not accurate, but other than that your "analysis and takeaway" portion was very interesting and I liked ow you introduced the notion of "frozen" information. To me, you finished very strong with an accurate conclusion. Your statement kept me engaged the whole time and I enjoyed reading it. Keep up the good work!
