Review from Rachel Kaufman-Levine:

Hi Dominic, I really enjoyed reading your data profile! It was fun, lighthearted, and easy to read because of the voice that you used. You really let your personality shine through, which I appreciated. I liked how you structured your profile into clear and distinct sections. Doing so made the piece flow well and helped to keep me engaged as I was reading. Overall you did a wonderful job describing your findings while capturing your audience throughout. From here, my suggestion would be to expand on the reflection side of things. It's great to see what information you found about yourself; I specifically thought it was interesting when you mentioned that since you have the same name as your dad that his data was mistaken for yours on Instant Checkmate. However, I would love to see more about your thoughts on data privacy and how much control we should have over what information of ours is public or not. I would also love to see you talk about the question "Are we more or less than our data?" from discussion as I feel it could add relevant depth to your profile. Best of luck, and keep up the awesome work!

Dominic, I like the voice that you develop throughout your article. It has personality but it is also very articulate, which is a rare balance that you do a good job of achieving. I like your playful humor the data collector assuming that you were your dad - it makes for a light-hearted read on somewhat of a grim topic. One thing that I would’ve loved to hear more about is your inclination to “take a washcloth and dismantle” your online presence. What was the motivation behind this? Do you think that all of the information that you scrubbed from various sites is actually held in an archive somewhere online? Also, I like the pictures that you have on your site, but it might be beneficial to add a few photos of things that relate directly to your searches.

Hi Dominic, I liked how you went all in on inserting your own voice into your profile. It felt like I was personally having a conversation with you as I read the article. A suggestion I have is to add a section about a topic that is "more than you". I think you did well in the googling section and data broker section, but I would like to see more discussion on what implications might there be with the information you found about yourself or maybe a discussion on what you will do in the future regarding your digital presence.
