This is a great piece of writing. The best I have seen in years ...Professor Conway.

I really enjoyed reading this piece and I feel as though I got a lot of insight into who you are as a person. I really like how you tied your autobiography into the readings. The quotes were well placed and made a lot of sense in the context of your paper. That being said, I think I learned more about you from your personal reflection than I learned from your reflection of your Facebook (and Instagram) accounts. You illustrate what isn't on your Facebook timeline, but what is on it? I think you could shorten your introduction about what brought you to Facebook and use that space to analyze what I would see if I looked you up on Facebook? Why did you choose the profile and cover photo you chose? I think the real challenge for your revision is to discuss the parts of yourself that you don't hide from social media. I think your Instagram would be a good place to start because it appears to have quite a few posts. An additional small note, is that you may want to enlarge some photos, I had to zoom in to make sense of a couple. Good luck on your revision! - Julie Burke

Hi Cami! Wow! I really enjoyed reading your Wiki article and felt that many aspects completely resonated with how I use Facebook as well. Your use of quotes from the readings, the titles and the overall flow of your article was really nicely done as well. I really enjoyed learning more about your evolution as a Facebook user and how during a time where you felt you were doing the best, you chose to not publicize it on Facebook and instead chose to just live in the moment. I am really interested in learning more about your Instagram usage and how it compares (or doesn't compare) with your Facebook usage. I think you bring in a lot of great self-presentation issues in your piece and I think tying it to the Oliver Haimson article from class could really improve your article. I additionally think it would be cool to see what your Facebook profile looks like to someone who isn't you. Good luck on your revision! -Jamie Leeds

Excellent job, Cami!

Your style is refreshing and engaging.

Next, consider how you can improve the resolution of some of the pix (maybe crop them to include only the most relevant info?)

For revision, your colleagues’ comments above are spot on. Please consider them fully.

Best,

Corina
