It generally seems like this is a growing area of research and speculation in the context of journalism. It doesn't seem like there are a ton of existing examples of artificial intelligence being used in journalistic settings other than more mundane, menial tasks like transcribing interviews. It would make sense for you to focus on potential ethical issues and speculation rather than existing issues/controversies. Good luck!

Nadav peer review: The word count is about 1050 so it is within the bounds of the assignment. It does have an opening section that describes what AI in journalism is, a body that goes more in depth and explains the ethical concerns, and all of the sources cited are reliable. The article does a good job making clear what the ethical concerns regarding the technology are, but the language in both the ethics and application sections might need to be revised to sound less opinionated, potentially with qualifying statements with “some have concerns that” or something similar. Another suggestion would be to also mention the arguments that proponents of AI journalism have against those concerns if you are available to find those. Otherwise, this is a very good start to the article, I was able to understand exactly what you were trying to say and it flows well. For the rest of the article, you might want to also expand more about real-life examples of when AI was used in journalism because I know it has been in the news recently, particularly after Chat-GPT was released. Also you could potentially go more in depth about which specific AI algorithms are used to write journalistic pieces and how they have been known to perform, or if there are ant being currently developed.
