Hi, Alexandra. You start with a strong introduction, and I'm almost immediately hooked to read more. I think you have a legitimate (for better or worse) concern regarding your name sharing with AOC, and hope it doesn't negatively affect your future. Quick fixes under "Social Media" - "...data that I had posted about previously job experience." Also under "Arrests" - it seems your last sentence was cutoff? Second paragraph of "Getting it wrong" - missing an apostrophe in "The important part of Instant Checkmate's...". Lastly in your conclusion, maybe switch "breath of relief" with "sigh of relief"?. Unless that was intentional. Side note: Being in a similar situation, I wish you the best of luck when searching for answers to your family secrets, controversies, and secret half-siblings.

Hi Alexandra,

I was immediately hooked by your introduction when you discussed your name's similarity to AOC. That is something I have never had to think about, but it is really interesting to think about how that relation may positively or negatively impact you. I like how you break your statement into segments depending on what you find online, it makes it easy to read. Your use of images also adds by helping the reader understand the types of things you found online. In you "Arrests" category, it seems you were about to talk about Instant Checkmate and Eli Saslow's reading, however it seems like your paragraph got cut off. I would also recommend moving that discussion more towards the end of your statement where you are reflecting on what you found online. I like your discussion about how a lot of the information you found on Instant Checkmate was wrong, and I found your statement about family secrets and half-siblings to be really interesting, maybe you could go more into that? I would also recommend reflecting more on how the information you found online relates to your authentic self.
