Overall, this was a really well-written piece that was easy to read and organized really well. I like how you included the section “Who is Aditya Gupta” at the beginning in order to give kind of a background for how much information should be available on yourself. I also wrote a bit about how confused I was to find a lack of information on myself as well. However, I have a super unique name, unlike you according to your search on LinkedIn, which I also thought was an interesting section to include. I think it definitely seems that for you, the data brokers probably had a hard time sorting through all of the Aditya Guptas and figuring out the right one, so they didn’t include it. One thing that you could add is how the information that you DO find represents the real Aditya Gupta (or what you can’t find).

I think that this was extremely well written and you do a great job of describing who you are. I also think you did a great job of breaking down your essay into parts with clear headings. However, the section “What is a data broker” is unnecessary because you briefly mention it in the first part of the essay. I also like how you included the Frankfurt reading but maybe you can incorporate an example from your own life. For example, have you ever lied or bullshitted on social media? I also think in general you can spend a little more time talking about how true the information you find about yourself is. I think this can also relate to the Frankfurt reading because you can analyze if it is a truth, lie, or bullshit. Overall, the grammar was good and I like the style of your writing.
