Paul Conway is the WikiSysop for the SI 410 MediaWiki site. WikiSysop has super powers, including the ability to delete pages, block users, and control spam.
Paul Conway is associate professor at the University of Michigan School of Information. He conducts research and teaches courses on the digitization and preservation of photographs, books, and audiovisual resources, archival science, and the ethics of new technologies. Prior to joining the Michigan faculty in 2006, he was a senior administrator for the libraries at Yale and Duke University. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan and is a Fellow of the Society of American Archivists.
The arm in the picture is that of my youngest son Mike. He's almost 20. I also have an older son Patrick, a recent graduate of MSU. My daughter Nina and her husband Russell live in Charlotte, North Carolina with their daughter Penelope. She's too cute and almost 3. My wife Martha is a librarian and directs the Special Collections Library at the University of Michigan. We met nearly 30 years ago at Dominic's -- at happy hour.
