His notable affiliations include The Inter-Cooperative Council, a student housing cooperative organization serving the student populations of EMU, UofM, WCC, as well as other schools and non-student community members. In addition to having sat on the board of directors for fiscal year 2010-2011, he is currently serving as house president of Stefan T. Originally from Ada, Michigan, Roltsch is the youngest of six siblings (and only the second to attend UM).
