Alexis Smith (born Alexis Alexandria Smith; July 1, 1990) is a Social Computing Informatics major at the University of Michigan. As the 45th student to declare the Informatics major, she began her studies in the Computational track. However, a greater interest in social media lead her to change tracks to Social Computing.

A kind, charismatic joker, Alexis likes to think of herself as a very ethical individual. She loves critically-thinking and debating ethical matters. Alexis likes to remain objective and not allow emotions to cloud her judgement. Because of this, her opinions can sometimes differ from popular opinion.
