Philomela Gan (born December 12, 1990) is a junior double majoring in Chinese and Informatics at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Education
Philomela graduated from Northville High School in Northville, Michigan in 2009.
Work
She currently works for Campus Computing Sites as a consultant between Angell Hall and the School of Education. She also works for the Center for Education Outreach, where she is in charge of designing a new website.
Philomela is an e-board member of the Asian American Association (AAA); as the AAA webmaster, she has also volunteered in social media on behalf of the Asian/Pacific Islander American Studies department in organizing the 2011 A/PIA Movement Conference.
Hobbies
Philomela plays the piano and ukulele and is learning to play the guitar. A former member of the U of M Women's Glee Club, she enjoys singing, songwriting, and arranging music. She also draws, paints, and translates a lot in her spare time.
