I am intrigued by your post and the information you included. I find it quite interesting that because you were born in South America you found far less information about yourself. I like that you brought up the topic of anonymity and the ability to portray a completely different personality online. It’s interesting to see how you compared your real-life personality to your online one. I did like that you mentioned the importance of knowing your limits and taking precautions. With a simple search, one is able to find phone numbers, addresses, and family members.

It was interesting to see that you have limited the information you post online but you keep your profile public. I feel as though many people do the opposite by posting as they please it keeping it private. Sometimes this may be misleading and it may have people thinking that this information is untouchable; when in reality it can still be uncovered.

Hi William, I enjoyed reading through your post, as I can definitely relate to having a separate "gamer" persona with an online username being what I mainly use online. You are braver than I am by revealing your username here, as I really don't want anything linking my two identities together available publically, but I guess the chances of someone going through the effort of finding this post is pretty small. I found the point about how having a separate gamertag online shields you from potential consequences to be interesting, and made me about cases where people make a mistake online which goes viral with their real name attached and are harassed in real life/have a hard time finding employment afterwards. With an online persona/username, I feel the worst that happens in most cases when you mess up enough that it goes viral is that you shut down your account and just go on with living with no significant real world consequences (unless you are some online celebrity). For the writing itself, I think you could tie all the points you made together a bit more so your writing has more of an aim. I feel that the call to action you made at the end was a good first step, but also relating that more to your personal experiences could be good since you didn't talk about Facebook/Twitter/Instagram that much so it felt a bit out of place when you brought it up.
