Bess Feedback 2017

Article as a whole:

  • The Lead paragraph does not address ethical implications discussed below.
  • Currently this article is organized into Lead, History, Features, and Ethical Implications. Are there specific incidents or case studies that could give the reader a better sense of how this technology has had a social impact (with ethical implications)?

On the SnapChat Discover section:

  • Should this section be moved under Features?
  • Is the list of discover channels comprehensive? Is it valuable? Is it necessary?
  • Does the information provided in this section describe the broad significance of this feature?

Previous Input (2016 or before)

This article is definitely heading in the right direction. The body of the article is well structured. The ethical implications are in an emergent state. A "controversies" section might help put various issues on the table separate from the discussion of ethical implications, which can be more generic. The lead paragraph does not allude to either ethical issues or controversies. There are some rough phrasings that could be edited into classic wiki text. "encourage users not to take screenshots" could be discourage users from taking screenshots" for example. A good first draft in need of polishing and expansion.
