• Genre. This article looks really good. But there are some tone issues. Not all the analysis reads in a wiki-appropriate voice. Example, from the lead:

This fact, especially when coupled with one's knowledge of the previous security breaches at Snapchat, or of the platform's ongoing battle with third-party applications (some of which allow users to access others' already-expired 'Snaps'), surely sparks ethical worries within many.

This reads as persuasive writing, rather than encyclopedic. (Note also that this is a very looooong sentence. We can tighten up some of the writing here.)

This article is definitely heading in the right direction. The body of the article is well structured. The ethical implications are in an emergent state. A "controversies" section might help put various issues on the table separate from the discussion of ethical implications, which can be more generic. The lead paragraph does not allude to either ethical issues or controversies. There are some rough phrasings that could be edited into classic wiki text. "encourage users not to take screenshots" could be discourage users from taking screenshots" for example. A good first draft in need of polishing and expansion.

Comparison of Facebook to Snapchat and persistence of information can probably be added to ethics section somewhere:

In January of 2014, Mark Zuckerberg gave a tech talk at Stanford University where he discussed Snapchat and Privacy. Zuckerberg compared the two natures of Facebook and Snapchat in terms of the preservation of content. He explained, "I think Snapchat is a super interesting privacy phenomenon because it creates a new kind of space to communicate which makes it so that things that people previously would not have been able to share, you now feel like you have a place to do so.

And I think that’s really important and that’s a big kind of innovation that we’re going to keep pushing on and keep trying to do more on and I think a lot of other companies will, too."
