Hi Seth! I really liked the format you took with this assignment. It keeps the reader engaged in the process of what you expected, found, results, etc. It was interesting that you touched on the time we grew up in, where social media really took off and our elders gave us all those warnings of watching what you post. I can agree with you that I am glad I don’t have embarrassing posts from middle school. I also enjoyed that you started broad and went more detailed with your searches. You mention in your conclusion that once a person figures out your connections they can find other info about you. I think you can relate that to your detailed search argument in that once someone finds one thing, they can do a more detailed search and start a cycle of more sleuthing. Lastly, I like how you were surprised to find that being privatized has helped, but what about the social media companies having your data, despite the privatization? Overall, well done!!

Hey Seth! I really like how you took us through different areas of your data identity by breaking it down by platform. I found it interesting that you brought up the "online forever" talks that were given to our generation in Middle School and High School, but I'd love to see some more content and background explanation about what those talks were like. Additionally, I liked how you brought up the problems that come with withholding data online, in terms of positive data not being available for professional purposes like education and employment. I feel like this could be an interesting area to explore further, looking at the necessity of having data publicly available. You also pointed out that information on accounts belonging to friends could be more accessible due to their reduced privacy settings, and I'd like to hear more about angle. Overall, awesome post.

Seth, I really liked how you started this with a predictions section! I hadnt seen this before or thought of it myself, but its a great way to bring in context about one's real-life identity before explaining what your query brought out. I also really really like how to showed what you actually searched for. I was struggling to figure out how to explain what i searched for and what results it yielded but your layout of your searches were very easy to understand and set up a great analysis for the rest of your page. Your other sections breaking down yout data findings were also well organized ane relevant to your previous statements. When you analyzed your findings and finished with your conclusion, I think these reflective thoughts ended your identity statement in a complete and informative way. I definitely got a better understanding of how you felt and how you intend to exist online.
