Length

Word count of the draft is 1233 words which satisfies the 900 word minimum requirement.

Structure

The article includes the 3 major components. The opening paragraph does well summarizIng sensory substitution technology. The body of the article is broken up into multiple sections including history, substitution technology types, and ethical concerns. Each of these have subcategories which organize the wiki well. The sources used by the author are very reliable sources of information. The author used scientific publications, government managed sites, and edu sites which contribute to the credibility of the wiki. I noticed that there’s multiple statements that look like facts but aren’t supported by a reference. I’d suggest making sure every fact you mention is supported by a source.

Clarity

Clarity is very good in the wiki. The author takes time to explain the background about the topic and provide history about sensory substitution technology. One thing I’d suggest is to make it seem less like an essay and more like a Wikipedia page. The writing flows very well and there are transition sentences but that isn’t really necessary for the Wiki. So, I think that removing some of those transition sentences for more information would be better. The ethical concerns mentioned are accessibility and ableism reinforcement. I think the Accessibility concern highlights the importance of this issue very well; the author provides stats on prices and how those high prices impact low-income/rural areas.

Objective Reporting

The author does objectively report about the topic. There is a good amount of the wiki dedicated to explaining how sensory substitution technology is beneficial for its users. The ethical concerns highlight the possible issues with this technology by including facts about the issue rather than including personal opinions. Like I mentioned previously, there are a few statements not backed by references. I believe the author meant to include these are personal knowledge or transition sentences. But, these should be replaced with statements backed by reliable sources instead.
