Rachel, I really enjoyed your introduction to this assignment. I thought it was interesting how you started with "I am not special" and then explained why. I agree whole heartedly with your entire introduction and thought it flowed very nicely into the rest of your statement. It might be beneficial to add if your social media profiles ever came up with the google search and how much detail you had to include in order for your profiles to appear. The paragraph about the Facebook page was one that I identified with strongly, and the quote from Shoemaker fit in very nicely, but I do think it could benefit from another example. I thought that your line about "collaborative identity" really tied your whole statement together. This is a really interesting idea and I think your statement would be even better than it already was if you expanded on that as well. Overall your writing flowed very nicely and the content of the class was integrated really well. Good job! Commenter: Alana Woloshin (awoloshi)

Julia Pezzullo: I really enjoyed reading this! I had an opposite experience where I was immediately able to find my info and profiles so it was interesting reading about your perspective where you had to dig a little deeper. You integrated class readings and concepts really well. I liked the way you look at your profiles in a 'collaborative' way and discuss the ethicality surrounding that. I think you could go a little bit more in depth about the information available to the public from your profiles. Also, you wrote a sentence or two about your earlier online experiences, I would like to hear more about those and how they might've affected your online identity or habits today.
