Hi Kevin,

It sounds like your Facebook profile matches up pretty well with who you are in real life. Your Facebook profile seems modest in its utilization of all of Facebook's tools, and you describe yourself as a modest person as well. You talk about keeping a low profile (pun intended haha), and I think that's a really apt description of what you've got going on with your avatar: a low profile.

I think your description of your Facebook's development overtime is telling. Your move from an about me section filled with funny AIM quotes to an about me filled with only a few key details is telling of your personality development. As you matured, your Facebook profile matured, it seems.

Your description of your faux major was striking, in contrast to the low-key nature of all your other info. I did not know the plural of Lego is Lego haha. I wonder whether you overestimate the uniqueness of having a fake major listed. You say that to you it symbolizes uniqueness, but I have seen so many fake majors on Facebook that I doubt I would really notice yours particularly if I came across it. If your faux major is not really a symbol of uniqueness, I wonder if your Facebook profile is lacking in individuality.

Your writing style is consistent with your content. You wrote your avatar analysis in relatively plain, modest language, and you claim to be a modest person. Your assignment was easy to read, albeit not very exciting or fun to read.

You seem earnest in your descriptions of your avatar but perhaps slightly unconscious of certain aspects of your self. For example, the way in which you stay offline in chat seems like a decision towards privacy, but you only describe it in terms of wanting to be productive and get homework done without being distracted. I wonder whether you might be making decisions such as staying offline and not filling out an deep about me section because of concerns about your privacy, instead of just not caring and wanting to get work done or something. I could be totally wrong on this, but that's just what came across from reading your assignment here.
