Katie --

You raise a thoughtful point in driving a wedge between the embellished and flattering content you (we?!) regularly push onto Facebook and the relatively mundane and banal nature of every-day life. Personally, this reminds me of a phrase I find myself repeating often: "social media is a slideshow of life highlights, unless you are X; then it's just every day life," with a particular friend in mind. Clearly, you are acutely aware of this aforementioned gap, but I wonder how you and virtual Katie feel about the gap... in effect: what do you think about the gap? Do you regret what v.K. has become? Does v.K. snort in derision at Katie? Do the two of you instead think highly of one another? You provide ample evidence of the online v. offline disconnect you see in your own persona, but I'm curious about what that discrepancy means to you!

Mechanically, your page easily lends itself to its purpose -- nicely done! The parallelism in each example (a summary of v.K.'s virtual reality followed by how the story 'actually' went) makes it quite clear how v.K. is only loosely tied to Katie!
