Hi, Julie! I really like that you approached this by wondering what an employer could find out about you through an internet search, which is a relevant concern most of us have nowadays. Also, it was interesting to mention that several results that were displayed were from posts you did not make nor consented to, such as the baton twirling records. If you were to expand on this piece, I would suggest further discussing your concerns on the unethical collection of data and how many of us are unaware of the information on us that can be found by searching a name and some keywords. This could lead to talk about the need for privacy protection and options to opt-out of data collection to be prioritized. You could also talk more about the implications of moving our personal lives online and how it is shifting us into a dystopian world where personal information is known to higher authorities that can use it against us. Also, talk more about why you think it could lead to missed opportunities in the future if you choose to not participate in it. Overall, I enjoyed reading your story on your data identity exploration! - Erika Kohl
