Comment #1: Jose, your experience on Facebook sounds similar to my own. I too adopted an arguably conservative approach across the various social media platforms where I maintain an online presence. Your thesis hinged on a quote from Smith and Watson regarding multiple identities and it worked well as a mechanism for transitioning to a discussion about how you manage your own online profiles and places where you have the most prolific activity/appearance. The organization of piece worked to its favor and provided the reader with a clear concept of how you intended to introduce and summarize your assortment of digital personas. Unlike my avatar contribution, which was comparatively less wiki-like and more so an attempt to simulate a web journal or something similar, the feel of the sectional text and clear jumps from one part to the next made me feel slightly like I was reading an encyclopedia (i.e. Wikipedia). This strategy, much like any other, had some clear overall advantages and disadvantages. Although a boon for structure and in presenting viewers with a straightforward narrative for your exposition which was to come, it frequently impressed on me a sensation of rigidity and weakened any lingering internal optimism for surprise. In total, the grammar and sentence structure appears to be in a very reasonable state with only small spots for improvement. Also, you might consider introducing the quotes you use more effectively (i.e. attribute basis for authority or expertise, etc.) so the reader has context and can derive the appropriate meaning. I appreciate the thought you invested in this assignment and can tell that you paid it the attention it deserved. Well done, my friend!
