Also, I felt it was necessary to define what information is.  I'm not sure what class reading this was in, but I remember someone saying that the term information is not in most books' indices.  It is for this reason that I started to add a section that would define what information is.  After all, to talk about a library full of books we need to know what books are; we need to know what information is in this massive library of the infosphere.  Gleick talks greatly about it as well (not to over use that source, but it is highly useful!). -JYoung

Some basic reading on the infosphere

I highly recommend checking out the source I added (The information). The library should have it, and if not, I can let you borrow my copy for a few days. -JYoung Also, I felt it was necessary to define what information is. It is for this reason that I started to add a section that would define what information is.
