Hey Ho Jung, I really like reading your article and loved the way you used your pictures to give us an example of what you meant about your name. I also really liked how your introduction told us who you are. One thing that I noticed is that you went from talking in third person to first person in the middle of the paragraph, but other than that it was really solid. Also You should include the data you found from a data broker because while I was reading about your google search, I was anxious to read what you found from data brokers. Also if you wrote a conclusion on what you learned from searching yourself and the results, your article would be perfect. Overall Your article was great and I really enjoyed it! – Jeremiah St. Clair

Hi James,

I thought it was really interesting that searching for both of your legal names in English and Korean (both phonetically spelled and also using Korean characters) yielded very different search results. I also noticed that searching for 최호정, Ho Jung Choi, and James Choi did not actually give you your real online profiles, or at least they are not seen in the top results. I think that there are both advantages and disadvantages to this. It would be beneficial from a privacy point of view, since it would be harder for potential adversaries and/or identity thefts to gain access to your personal information. However, at the same time, it would probably be undesirable for potential employers looking you up online and not seeing any top results that lead to your actual online profiles. To improve your page, I would recommend including ties to the readings we have covered in class, such as Floridi's works. Overall, I thought your page was very interesting and I also thought that your online search process and results were very unique!

Hello, Ho Jung James Choi I really enjoyed your wiki page and I thought it was very interesting about how you had 2 different names that contained 2 different kinds of information about you. I also appreciate the beginning and talking about yourself and how Google defines you. Although I did enjoy this page, I would recommend that you split up your text so that it is in multiple paragraphs and easier to digest. I would also advise that you look deeper into yourself using data broker information instead of just the Google search. Although your Google search was good, Google itself doesn't cover all of the information available. Also, look into some course topics like Floridi and discuss how your feelings/thoughts correlate with these topics. Lastly and just a small thing, try to include another picture, and when you do include a picture, make sure you go to the left of the page, under tools, and use upload file to get your image to show up. Overall, very interesting wiki page but there are some things to touch up!
