Hi Hannah!

I really enjoyed reading your statement! This was a pretty comprehensive piece and I felt like your authentic voice and self-reflection came through. The beginning of your statement was particularly interesting when you talked about privacy that was imposed by your parents--I think this idea could potentially be carried throughout the entire piece and be brought up when you talked about Instagram and Twitter as well. I also think that the part where you mention your birthday present as being able to have a "real" Facebook is funny and could also have the potential to be talked about more in regards to how digital identities/relationships play such a huge role in our lives that it could be considered a gift. Additionally, I'm interested if you have any further insight into this paradox of having a very open, transparent Facebook but also having the highest privacy settings on and what that possibly says about you. There were only minor spelling errors--I liked the flow of your sentences and ideas! Overall, great piece!
