some to the information in this article is factually incorrect.

  • the name hacker is derived from the MIT train club term, early computer hackers were not also train hackers, at least that is what the source says.
  • anti-virus does not protect against hacking, in fact not much does, IDS firewalls honeypots these help somewhat
