Alejandro's draft is around 1,100 words, meeting the word requirement. His article also includes the 3 major components of a good article. The author begins his article with a clear definition and relevant background of the topic. I do think that the ethical issue could be more clearly addressed in the introduction, though, as it's only briefly mentioned towards the end of the intro. The article has a solid body with clearly defined sections that touch on various aspects of genetic engineering, such as certain techniques and legislation regarding the process. Thirdly, the author has cited reputable sources to back his writing. There are some sentences that still have filler links included, but since this is a draft, I imagine that Alejandro will revise this before submitting a final draft.

While the specific ethical issues associated with Alejandro's topic are not yet discussed in the draft, he has laid out the section for it, making it clear that this will be included in the final draft. It seems as though he focused on writing about the background, techniques, and legislation for the draft, and plans to write about the ethical issues next. Even without actual writing about the issue, it's clear to me what it is.

Finally, the authors article is very objective and uses science-backed research to inform his writing. There are no personal pronouns and he reports all perspectives when necessary. He is not arguing for one specific side, rather, he is crafting an article which provides information on all points of view.
