Logan Niswander Comment: Overall I was really impressed with your Data Identity autobiography. I think the results of your Google searches on yourself were very interesting and you obviously put a lot of time and effort into finding information about yourself. I found your discovery of the strange PIKDO website to be especially intriguing and I am now planning to look into it myself to see if it has any information on me. One way I believe you could improve your autobiography would perhaps be to include some more discussion of material from class. One other possible area you could elaborate more on is your feelings over your family's personal data being found by the data broker report. You briefly mentioned this topic but didn't exactly say whether or not you were upset with the report finding information on them. One final note, I think you did an excellent job with the images you chose to include in your autobiography. The image from the old school presentation was especially striking as I know me and most other students have produced dozens of similar presentations throughout our time in education.

Hi Emma,

I really enjoyed reading about your findings in your data broker report and google search. It was also interesting to hear your story about how you became less addicted to your social media. I believe that you did a great job on going deeper with your findings. You went beyond just describing what you found online, and it was interesting to read about the questions you had on either the information you found or didn’t find. One suggestion that I would make is that I think there should be central theme of your statement. Right now, it seems like there are four different stories on your statement. You should try and bring them all together with a common theme. Especially with your similar questions for each of the searches you performed, I think it would be great for you to connect your findings. I would suggest that centralize your statement around the topic of accuracy and time. You could analyze the different information you found about from before you became more conscious about your privacy to now. Overall, your statement was great!
