"I have 625 friends on Facebook and you are not one of them." What a great way to start off a post! A combination of the sharp attitude and the knowledge [I assume] that you did not enter this class with prior friends yields a witty beginning that makes that audience want to keep reading. Unfortunately, I felt the passion tapered off in the introduction; I think it could have been more interesting if you had kept that snarky attitude going.

I found the personal stories you shared to be quite gripping. So much that I wish you had shared more! (Obviously this is up to your discretion, especially if they are too private or personal). Many of the examples you used teased the reader with the emotions that you were feeling (break in: fear, grad speech: embarrassment, etc), so I think the embellishment of these experiences would aid you post. Overall, I believe you did address the seriousness of the posting assignment, and did a good job comparing your Facebook life to your "IRL."

Style, flow, and grammar were all fine. Great job!

Great read, I enjoyed hearing what your mom had to say to you at such an early age. I know a lot of kids growing up didn't hear things like that, I know I didn't. I wonder how I would have changed my social media had those thoughts crossed my mind. Do you think kids should be educated in media literacy and identity at a young age? middle school? high school? I think it would benefit a lot of people.

assuming that you don't use Facebook or traditional social medias regularly, do you use any less popular or more anonymous sites? For exaple, GoodReads is like a social media and I use it for connecting with my fellow book worms. Do you participate in anything similar to this?
