Alissa, I really enjoyed your work. I found that your humor transcended through your avatar and you took plenty of creative liberty when writing this. I especially found it funny when talking about how your aunt ‘steals’ your pictures and posts them on her own account. I found that you had an excellent amount of concrete evidence that you provided in your work. Also I found that you were realistic about how you use Facebook (or rather don’t use Facebook) because of how your audience has shaped your activity.

I think your article could be stronger by adding in more about ethical considerations. You could expand on how tailoring to a certain audience is against what you believe in. Another angle would be explaining how it might be unethical of your aunt to take your picture and post it without your permission. Also your conclusion is strong however I think you could elaborate more on how you “still keep coming back”. Why do you think you like coming back? Do you find satisfaction to know that you can look at your friends’ posts? This would make it stronger and more reflective.

Overall I thought this was a strong Avatar article, great work! –Andrew
