Old School Runescape

Old School Runescape is a remake of Runescape which is a fantasy MMORPG which was developed and created by Jagex. Runescape was originally released in January 2001 and at the time was a browser game running on Javascript. Over 200 million accounts has been created since its first released and as such would have quite a large impact on the players themselves. On February 15, 2013 due to players being unsatisfied with the current stage of the game, there was a poll for a reverted version of the game. The poll passed and the paid version was released, and the free version was later polled which passed as well and was released on February 19, 2015. In order to avoid the same mistakes made in the updates of original Runescape, Jagex made the rule that all updates and changes in the game would need to receive 75% agreement from the community before the update would go live.
