Hi Sulayman! I really liked the structure of your data identity post, the information flowed and connected very well. Tying in the section about issues with airport security really highlights some of the ways the lack of data privacy can lead to violations and its wrongful use. I also really liked the way you incorporated your personal experiences with social media and other internet platforms from a young age at the start of the post.

To improve, you could add some relevant pictures that make your arguments stronger and further support your point of view. Furthermore, you could add some more information about whether your public information available online is an accurate depiction of your true identity. Contrasting your “real life” with your “digital life” will certainly add to your post by bringing in an interesting perspective. On the whole, I enjoyed reading your post and it certainly made me think about how data could be violated in certain situations.

I found your article to be as interesting as it was heartbreaking. To know that you have felt the need to be so protective of your identity purely because of your religious beliefs is hard to read. I know that you mentioned how you feel your commitment to anonymity could actually be a detriment to your ability to travel because of unfounded connections between you and others who might share your name. It might be an interesting addition to your article if you talk about if this has changed your perspective on your social media practices and if you might change them as a result of this project. While I understand you may wish to stay as anonymous as possible (given these articles are public) I might suggest still including a few screen shots of what your Google results may have included. This especially goes for what might be found in Google pics as you have been so careful about what photos you share online. Regardless, the article is still a good read, extremely informative, and I hope that things become easier for you in the future.
