I found your data identity analysis to be very interesting and well researched. Your inclusion of a multitude of sources and categories of information provided relevant info to represent many aspects of your online identity. I especially found the inclusion of the labels generated by Facebook and Google regarding your perceived interests and online behavior to be a unique and interesting insight into the online identity created for you. Though I found your analysis to be an excellent summary of the information you have discovered, your analysis could benefit from a further exploration of your own thoughts in the conclusion. Some potential areas to explore could be how representative of yourself was the online identity you found, or how the inclusion or exclusion of information by the various sources portrays your identity. Furthermore, tying in specific ideas related to the ethical implications of such a construction of your online identity from the readings could leave the reader with more to think about on their own.

Hagan Surkamer: Jesse, I think that the perspective you have on this assignment is so different and cool from many others. Not having as much information as people born in this country can for sure make it hard to find the right Jesse Kim, especially when Jesse is a new addition. Despite that, the information you found on social media was very telling of who you are, specifically the Facebook and Google ad data. While you did a really great job recounting what information is out there on you and what issues you ran into with identifying yourself, I think it would be beneficial for you to incorporate your own thoughts as you went through this research. Like how you were concerned about being on the other side of the law was a great example of how you felt about your data search. It would be interesting to see a little more about how you feel about your online identity compared to the identity you hold for yourself in the real world. Overall, great job!
