I really like how you contrast what you can find on yourself for Google and Baidu. I also like how you talk about your father and the impact he’s had on you. I think it would help your wiki if you add more information about that. You mention that it’s a good thing that this is the case because your information is more secure. It might help to talk about that further. Why do you think it’s a good thing your information is more secure? In addition, it might help to go into more detail in your introduction paragraph. Tell us more about yourself and how you interact with the internet and what your goals are when using it. Overall, I believe it would benefit your paper to brush through it and fix the grammatical errors throughout.

Thank you for sharing your personal story, the reason you study abroad, and why you are interested in Econ. I think they definitely give you a very unique identity. I guess the data brokers don't work well for international students, especially students from China, because Chinese social media is somewhat exclusive, and it's hard for most data brokers to find accurate information about us. You mention your information is more secure online because of the common name, but I think you could elaborate more about why you think this is more secure, give us more details about what type of social activity do you engage, and so why it's hard to find your information online.

Hi Chao,

I enjoyed reading about your digital profile that you had. Reading through your post, there are revisions you could make to the overall grammar and the structure of sentences. Although there wasn't a lot of information in regards to your digital presence through Google and the data broker, I think you can really expand your piece by adding your thoughts on how you could leverage your online presence to promote your online store, help job interviewers notice you through LinkedIn, or even build up your own portfolio. On the other hand, if you value privacy more you could have your own section on that.

Best,

Alan
