Planking is a fad and an internet meme that was popular in the United States around 2010. It involves people laying on the ground or other objects, like a plank. The planker's friends would take a picture of the scene and post it to social media sites such as Facebook or Twitter.
Ethical Challenges
At least one person has died in search of the perfect planking picture [1], a 20-year-old Australian. Given this unfortunate event, is it right for American teens to continue planking as though there were no consequences for their actions?
