Hi Anas, I really enjoyed reading your data identity profile. I especially liked your analysis of what Google offers specific to you versus a data broker and its ethical implications. I think now you just need to expand on the information that you’ve accumulated and tie it in with yourself. For example, you mentioned how searching up your name often shows Egypt’s president Morsi, but I think you could take it a step further and discuss what that means for you and the people who search you up. Would it lead to assumptions that you may be related to Egypt’s president? You also mentioned how the information that you got from the data broker isn’t easily found on Google, but it is possible. I think it would be really cool if you performed the in-depth search and see whether you are able to actually find some of that information and then talk about the results’ implications on data retrieval and privacy. I really liked the flow in your writing too and the only thing I would suggest is correcting some minor grammatical issues, such as in the first sentence where you said “personal website with serves” which should be “which serves” and a period at the end of the first paragraph. Overall, great job and you’re on track to create a very interesting profile!
