As I was looking through avatar pages, yours in particular struck me due to the large section devoted to previous avatars. Though I can relate to your sections on instant messaging and Myspace, it's the sections on message boards and online games. With those two mediums, and instant messaging, the authenticity of one's online persona can be questions -- in most situations, it appears you're even saying that inauthentic representations are the norm. I would have been interested in seeing you delve deeper into the differences of what you reveal in those avatars versus your Facebook profile.
