Jing Guo is currently a 3rd year Informatics (Data Mining) student in the University of Michigan. She was born August 1st, 1990 in Xining, China, and was raised in Beijing until she was 11 years old. And when she turned 12, her parents and her moved to a suburb outside of Chicago, IL.

In the summer of 2011, she obtained two internships in Shanghai, China. One with The Princeton Review as a Business Development Associate, and another with the 800 Shanghai Art Zone as a Project Manager. She thoroughly enjoyed these experiences, and would like to embark on more learning experiences in the summer of 2012.

In her spare time, she likes to paint (watercolor is her favorite media), traveling, translating Chinese-English, and hanging out with friends. She enjoys reading novels while sitting in the shade next to the trees in her backyard, and she thought she was very good at Math until she took her Data Mining courses.
