3/26/2021 (coopstev) I removed the section "Racism in Facial Recognition" because it doesn't belong. Facial recognition is a very small part of what Google Photos does, and this section really only talked about facial recognition in general - not Google's facial recognition specifically. This section would be better off in a wiki page about "Facial Recognition," not one about a product that makes some use of facial recognition (especially since this isn't even Google Photos's main product).

4/8/2021 (ianmasc) I added a "Bias in Algorithms" section because I found some relevant stories related to Google and facial recognition bias specifically related to gender and racism. I think this section does apply to Google Photos specifically because the stories are related to visual algorithms. I added it under the "Motivations" section but it might fit better under the "Ethical Implications" section.
