Thanks for the phrasing notice. Because I've played this game a lot but wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything of importance, I referenced several articles on other pages but I think I did end up overly relying on the Deus Ex Wikia. I rewrote the entire plot synopsis from memory around the core points, and I think it is now pretty wholly original. it reads better than the deus ex wikia now, it has a sense of style and personality unlike the deus ex wikia which is a little painful to read. you should consider editing their site.

Agreed. While their site has a lot of good factual information, it reads like the ramblings of several different people who write whatever's on their mind. I'll go ahead and link it to my Deus Ex (Series) article.
