Hi Alexandra, I love your comparison to an Iceberg and how you present yourself online! I too am very much against sharing anything too personal online and found this assignment difficult because I had to expose my personal identity on my page in order to contradict what Google saw me as. The “LeadAbroad” circumstance you described is very interesting, I’m sure they tend to get away with it because people are not willing to look into the Privacy Policy details. Your writing style is very easy to read and your page had a really nice flow to it. For future revisions I might move the “Privacy Concerns” sub group to the last section of the “How Well Does Google Know Me?” section in order to keep all the sub groups pertaining to search results together and then breaking down the concerns you found through these results as a sort of conclusion to the section. Overall great page I enjoyed reading it!

Hey Alexandra! I really enjoyed reading this and I thought the overall style and flow of the article was very good and easy to follow. I really liked the iceberg comparison and that you incorporated that into the beginning and end of the article. I also really liked how you addressed the company that used your data without your knowledge and how it violated their terms of services. In terms of purpose, you address how you believe your online data identity is relative to the "real you" and the argument is effective. When reading through, it feels like you address two questions: the ethical issues and your online data identity. I like that but I think one source for improvement is that you can include some course content to relate to the ethical issues you addressed throughout the article and specifically in the last section. It seems like an easy addition which can also help to bolster the argument you make on companies going against their policies.
