Hi Aidan,

I really enjoyed reading your article. I liked how you included multiple search queries to help defend your thesis. Adding the current institution definitely made it clear how well developed your professional and academic online identity is. I also liked how you added the part about your Twitter and using it as an explanation into why your online identity might be more school based. Furthermore, I think it was useful to include specific parts of your 'personal' identity that aren't found online, like plants and social justice, because it helped highlight the clear divide between your real and online identity.

One thing I think you could improve to make the analysis of your identity stronger is discussing the difference between your two google searches, since one was more academic based and one more 'personal'. This could further prove your thesis. Overall, I think your analysis and implication sections were strong and clear about the effects of lacking a 'full identity' online. I thought the logic and flow of your pargraphs sounded good and there were no clear grammatical issues, so good job!

Hey Aidan,

I thoroughly enjoyed reading your data identity statement. I thought you were very organized and structured with your page. Furthermore, I liked how you discussed the two queries and how one seems to be more up to date with how you are today. This was definitely one of the stronger parts of your statement. I also liked how you wrapped things up by talking about the implications, and agree with how it might have job search implications. Lastly, I thought you did a great job explaining why your identity was stable.

One way I think you could improve your statement is by being more explicit with why your identity is unauthentic. You were very clear with why it was stable, but I thought it would be better if you also were as explicit with why it is unauthentic ("It is unauthentic because..."). I think that would make it easier to follow along. I also think an extra image or two showing your query results would make your statement even stronger. With that said, your statement is very engaging and complete. Great job!
